Dareen Fatimah
Biography
Dareen is a first-year doctoral student in the Educational Leadership and Policy program within the LHAE department at OISE. Driven by a profound commitment to building an inclusive and supportive academic community, she is passionate about research at the intersection of educational policy, leadership, and social justice. Her work focuses on the unique and often overlooked experiences of BIPOC leaders in public education systems, and she strives to ensure that the voices of equity-deserving groups are meaningfully represented in academic research. Dareen is a firm believer in the transformative potential of collaborative learning and values creating spaces where diverse perspectives can flourish.
